Boxing
champion and Senator Manny Pacquiao on Wednesday said he will be donating 100%
of his earnings from Jeff Horn fight.
Pacquiaoand Horn, an Australian undefeated number 2 Welterweight contender will square
off on July 2 at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, Australia.
The
boxer senator will be defending his WBO Welterweight champion belt against Horn
who will fight his toughest opponent and biggest fight of his career.
Pacquiao
is expected to donate more than $10 million (P49M) to Marawi victims as the
boxer is guaranteed to receive at least $10 million excluding pay-per-view
shares.
More
than 100,000 people have been affected in Marawi clash since it started three
weeks ago, and the government has been asking donations to help the victims.
Pacquiao is set to make the biggest donation in his life.
More than
55,000 boxing fans are expected to watch the Pacquiao-horn fight live.
Although
Horn is undefeated, Pacquiao is still considered favorite to win the fight.
Pacquiao
also promised to fly directly to Marawi City after the fight to start giving
