Freddie, Mocha, Aiza, other Pro-DU30 celebrities to hold fund-raising concert for Marawi victims

Even celebrities who are already holding government posts are planning to have a major concert to benefit Marawi victims.

FreddieAguilar, Mocha Uson, Aiza Seguerra, and other pro-Duterte celebrities are staging a 2-day major concert in Mall of Asia next week to raise funds for Marawi.

Hear organizer Albert Serrano told journalists on Monday that the concert is aiming to raise at least P10M for two nights of non-stop performances from more than a dozen artists to be headed by Freddie, Mocha, and Aiza.

Serrano said the tentative schedule will be on July 1 and 2. He added that the group will also perform for the victims in Marawi City the following week.

More than 100,000 people have been affected in Marawi clash since it started three weeks ago, and the government has been asking donations to help the victims. The group is seeking to make the biggest donation as possible.

Serrano added that there are also a dozen of companies who give intent to sponsor and support the event. /Luie Santos/
