The reason why Jim Paredes is not joining the Marawi fund raising concert will shock you

Pinoy musician Jaime Ramon “Jim” Paredes has reportedly rejected the invitation to join the 2-day Marawi fund-raising concert, a source close to Paredes’ manager told Pinoy Pride. The invitation was reportedly sent by singer Freddie Aguilar through Facebook, but Paredes allegedly responded that he had a prior schedule.

According to the source, Paredes had no prior schedule, but he intentionally rejected the offer because most of the performing artists are Duterte supporters.

Even if the concert was not for Duterte, Paredes allegedly said that not only the performers are Duterte supporters, but also the audience.

The 2-day concert to be held at Mall of Asia on July 1 and 2 feature Freddie Aguilar, Mocha Uson, Aiza Seguerra, and at least dozen others.

Paredes clashed with a Duterte supporter during the EDSA anniversary several months ago, with made the singer become unpopular to Duterte supporters.

Paredes allegedly said that he will do a Marawi fund-raising concert on his own, but his distractor doubt if many will attend.

Someone must tell Jim Paredes that the concert is intended to help Marawi victims, and not for Duterte.
