Sandara Park to work with John Lloyd Cruz in an upcoming Filipino Film

When the South Korean singer/actress and the Philippines’ sweetheart Sandara Park visited the country last February, she hinted that her goal for 2015 is to make a movie here in the Philippines and if possible with John Lloyd Cruz, whom she has a crush.

Her dreams seem to be far from over. News about a possible work with the actor leaked after an unnamed executive of Star Magic hinted that the actor will be doing a movie with the South Korean actress later this year.

Although the details was not disclosed, the project, if materialized will be one of the biggest and will surely shatter the box office record, the employee hinted.

Filipino fans love Sandara Park that much and working with the “Box Office King” will be a history in the making.

Sandara has an upcoming Korean Drama with fellow Korean actor Young-kwang. The TV drama is scheduled to release next June. This is the first time that the actress cast as one of the two main characters and Filipino fans are already lining-up to watch the said TV series.

Sandara started her entertainment career in the Philippines as an actress and singer in 2004 before leaving for Korea in 2007. She said during her last visit on January that she really wanted to do a movie again in the country, especially with John Lloyd Cruz.

“I would love to do it,” she said. “Lagi ko namang sinasabi na gusto ko magka-movie sa Philippines ulit,” Park said.

She added, “Gustong gusto ko yan kasi talagang I really love his movies and his acting. Nakaka-in love yung mata niya kapag umaarte kaya sobrang excited ako pag mangyari.”

John Lloyd on the other hand is also excited after hearing the news.

Many fans express desire to see both of them in a movie after seeing them together in photographs during the wedding of Joross Gamboa.

“Star Cinema, hintayin ko yun,” Sandara quipped.
